Angela Reina, MS, LAC, NCC
Angela Reina, MS, LAC, NCC serves as the Program Manager of CGE’s START Program. Angela earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Kean University and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and clinical mental health from Rutgers University.
She began her career at CGE as a counseling intern in the Adult and Adolescent Residential programs. Upon completing her graduate degree, she was hired as the Early Relational Health clinician in the Adolescent Residential program, where she deepened her clinical expertise by working closely with young mothers. Angela later transitioned to the role of Program Manager for CGE’s Supportive Housing program, where she oversaw comprehensive services for mothers and children in need of stable housing and support.
Now, as the Program Manager of the START Program, Angela applies her clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and dedication to early relational health to support young mothers navigating trauma and mental health challenges. She is trained in Brazelton Touchpoints and Newborn Behavioral Observations (NBO), enhancing her ability to support maternal-infant bonding and early relational health. Angela remains committed to fostering a safe, nurturing environment that empowers both mothers and their children to thrive.
