Noreen Whittemore, our Director of Community Relations for over 5 years, manages CGE’s connections with volunteers, in-kind donors, and business and community groups. Noreen’s own volunteer role at the 2013 Moms & Babies Luncheon inspired her commitment to CGE’s mission and the mothers and children we serve. She was a natural fit to bring on board full time to run the community outreach and volunteer programs at CGE.

Each day, Noreen enjoys helping individuals and groups connect their time, talents and resources to support the critical needs of our clients. Corporate and group service days, parish fundraising, item donation drives and unique projects supported by women’s clubs and Boy and Girl Scout Chapters are examples of ways to help. She also interviews, trains and helps to place the over 100 volunteers a year who help us deliver the safe place we promise our clients. As we continue to help more clients, Noreen continues to look for new relationships to help us help them!
